Self Care

The future is here, and so is help for your modern skin needs.

Facials in Seattle

Beauty Buffs: Let me be as clear as the skin you’ll have after our private session:  I chose to work with Future Cosmetics because their products offer thee-very-best of what nature can contribute to the global beauty business: Pure oils, skin-strengthening amino acids, natural fragrance effective essential oils, and healing herbs from the earth’s soil. Interestingly, the Israeli-born line was created by a nurse who is also a Folk Medicine specialist.

My Fassage-Massage

Apply as much Golden Touch Oil on your body (or in your bath) as desired: use alone for more concentration, or mix with one of Future’s six creams to double up on moisture. The product’s color is truly a naturally light gold, with a botanical, clean scent from the essential oils, courtesy of Mother Nature. I rarely have a customer not comment on the sensational smell of this all-use product. The organic chemists at Future mixed natural fatty acids here to boost the skin from the inside out.

I prefer to use this exact oil during a booked “Fassage,” or face massage. Simply, it  rescues fragile and dehydrated skin, not an easy feat for any beauty product. I use my hands while performing face sculpting Fassage, creating vibrational moves to tighten and tone my client’s skin. Various measures of pressure promote your skin’s elasticity- and you’ll see a visible increase in firmness when you leave. How happy I was to hear Seattle Refined report that my fassage gave their reporter positive “crazy results!”

Secrets of an Anti-Aging Specialist

Anti aging solutions for wrinkles now really work, thanks to red grape extracts and always-effective Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in Future’s VINO Remedial Omega 3 (Slather on your age-visible neck and hands, too.) It was created for weather prone skin, but this formula is sooo surprisingly gentle. It noticeably helps lines, whether you smoke, or stress, or both! Hey, be gentle on yourself as well as your skin…

I love mixing VINO Remedial Omega 3 with one of the 6 Future moisturizers, as I live in Seattle and skin is always prone to the fluctuating, frustrating weather (Cold rain air has a certain acidic “PH” that heavily strips moisture).  I also like the results of combining this product with Future’s Beauty Drops #3 to #GetThePattyGLOW!

Let me rave about Clear Makeup Remover.

Yes, it is called Clear Makeup Remover, but the founder confirms- and so do my clients- this is a top level cleanser, too (And safe for the eye area)!  This creamy cleanser has no problem gently removing heavy eye makeup- even hard-to-remove waterproof formulas.

The product employs 100% pure emollients like easy-to-absorb sweet almond oil, nourishing avocado oil, calming lavender and chamomile oils, and Arnica Montana extract – used for centuries for its anti-bruising, anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally scented so you can get the benefits of aromatherapy without being exposed to any harsh chemicals.

Try doing a facial massage with it, like I do for myself and my clients. It is so milky and non-drying- and it deep cleans without much effort. You will be shocked how soft it leaves your skin!  This kind of face massage will help unblock pores from, for example, daily sunscreens. (I was quoted in Women’s Health magazine about the importance of facials targeting clogged pores, helping to restore skin to its organic PH level.)

#1 for your skin? Beauty Drops #3!

Here is one of the most popular serums the line has to offer, and I completely see why. Beauty Drops #3 treats skin issues with actual amino silks- straight from the cocoon! (Talk about naturally-occurring ingredients!) Look to get not only hydrated but toned and tightened, as this is a really cost effective product- its duality of use allows you to purchase this one item for multiple skin needs.

As a professional, I use a medical grade, needleless syringe during your appointment to make sure the drops are delivered into your skin in the purest form. I always work with this product to banish age spots and scars.

Soothe ‘n smooth your skin.

Skincare in the time of Covid- not always pretty. Staying indoors, the masks, the heaters- all bring on unbalanced, problematic skin. Extreme situations call for Cream Extreme #3. Such a great buy because a tiny bit goes a long, long way to both soothe and smooth your skin. (My single jar has lasted almost a year.)

This is a must if the pandemic has mustered up dreaded MASKNE, or acne breakouts due to protective face masks. Can it get more organic and healing with ingredients like Carrot oil, rich in vitamin A and carotenoids to give your skin a really radiant complexion, and lemon peel to detoxify the skin.? I suggest to my clients that they moisturize in the shower- the heat helps the cream absorb…

If winter won’t let you go out- bring the beauty in- with my recipe for a homemade moisturizer using honey and unflavored Greek yogurt! The honey hydrates while the yogurt acts as a gentle exfoliant! Mix them up and watch your home-spa go down!

Masks we want to use!

This is the kind of mask we want to keep using! The popular and often sold out Heritage Exfoliating Masque can be used to exfoliate weekly, but also to tighten. (Exfoliate during your morning shower!) A very popular product, leave this scrub on for 10 minutes. Just relax and rejuvenate the herbal way! (if you love it as much as me you might decide to buy the spa-size.) And it is so rich in natural, exotic fragrances. Herbs; spices; oils; the true royal treatment for skin, as it removes dead cells and brings skin alive using grape leaf extract.

The scent brings me back to my childhood when my grandmother would use natural herbs and Chinese medicine to build my immune system. (She also made me eat snake meat which was believed to cure bodily ailments, improve skin quality and increase one’s “qi”, or energy level.
